The Life and Message of the Apostle Paul

During the months of February and March we will be reading Adam Hamilton’s book, THE CALL The Life and Message of the Apostle Paul.

“What would lead a first-century rabbi to travel for thousands of miles by sea and by land, to be beaten, imprisoned, and ultimately beheaded for the faith? It was a call – a call to turn the world upside down. This is the story of the Apostle Paul, whose writings have shaped the lives of one-third of the world’s populations, a man second only to Jesus in his influence on Christian faith, and whose witness defines what it means to follow Jesus Christ.”

This will be the subject of our 10:00 am Thursday morning Bible Study group and also picked up as the theme for our mid-week Lenten services beginning Ash Wednesday, February 14.

Here is the schedule for Lent and the chapters from Hamilton’s book:

Come for the Friendly Atmosphere

Imagine walking into a space and knowing that you're among friends. That's the way it is at Zion. We're small enough that you'll be able to get to know most everybody, but big enough that there's always lots going on.

Our church is a caring community center; giving back to our area and a place where all may come and be nurtured through the love of Christ.
